History
We started Starfish Books in 2004 when Claudia came up with the idea of the Log Book for Children, designed to stop 11-year old son James getting bored on board. The Log Book for Children was a great success, and following on from that Claudia was commissioned by the Royal Yachting Association to write and illustrate the 'Go Sailing' series of books for children. The RYA books have now been translated into five languages and are widely available, but if you want a signed copy dedicated to someone special, buy the book from us and contact us with your message.
As well as commissioned work and regular sailing cartoons (as fans of Dave Selby's hilarious column in Practical Boat Owner will know), Claudia finds time to come up with all the designs for our range of products - with more to come!
Perry sorts out admin and sales, and James is a whiz with websites.
